Celtic are close to an agreement with K-League side Suwon Bluewings to sign South Korea's World Cup striker Hyeon-gyu Oh. 

Sky Sports News understands the player is keen on the move to Celtic Park. The Scottish champions are confident the deal can be done and there are plans in place for his medical. 

Celtic had made an offer for Oh’s South Korean team mate Gue-sung Cho, but talks have stalled with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. 

This is after the player decided to weigh-up his options. Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis is currently subject to an offer from J-League side Urawa Red Diamonds. and has strong interest from other clubs. The Greece striker is expected to leave Celtic in this window.
